Before & After Comparison of my Headshot work

With my coaching techniques, I help you transform from basic to great Headshot Portrait.

At the beginning of every headshot photo session, I take a couple of images asking the client to do their habitual pose and look  –  both with or without smile. This is my reference to come back to and show the client the progress we have been achieving from there.
I am not interested in taking a nice portrait, but with my coaching techniques showing presence and confidence in front of the camera.

Judge for yourself… from the shy and fragile wallflower to a confident and serene, beautiful, even glowing personality.  Or working with different eye conditions and facial features to put to the clients advantage.
All results are achieved by coaching my clients individually and not by Photoshop or makeup. Actually, I do prefer the “nude” make-up for headshots which underlines your personality.

Before my coaching this recruitment specialist looked distant and definitively not at ease. The color of her jacket and the untidy hair did not help either.
After my coaching Catherine d’Alessandri from Lotuspartners in Geneva looks like you visualise a successful headhunter: confident and approachable.

Before and after images of PhD Juergen Pfingstner of CERN’s Beam Department. The headshot I show here is SOOC, straight out of camera and unretouched, still including the visible light modifiers. I hope you agree with me how confident, yet approachable my client looks.

BEFORE my coaching: She looks like a shy animal, impressed by the camera, lacking presence and absolutely no confidence.

BEFORE my coaching:
on his profile picture used on LinkedIn, this CEO of a Geneva and Valais based Fiduciary Accounting firm did post this slightly offbeat, human, funny picture of himself as mailboy.
Would you hire his Fiduciary with this pic?

AFTER my coaching:
For his company's new website, we worked together to end up several (in my terms) acceptable pictures. Showing confidence and friendliness, this corporate headshot photo clearly is a major improvement and shows his role as CEO
Here you can read his testimonial about experience with Patric Pop Headshot Photographer.

As Associate Headshot Portrait Photographer of the globally operating Headshot Crew, handpicked by my mentor Peter Hurley, the most successful headshot photographer of our time, I recently had the pleasure to shoot Anabel.
I do enjoy meeting new people and with all of my clients we do work together closely to achieve stunning results. And this specific case is no different of the many I have seen: while Anabel is super friendly and the kind of person whose' presence and conversation you will enjoy over a good dinner, she is not at ease in front of the camera. Holding back, holding her breath, creating mental stress and physical tightness.
Here, it was even more visible, as shortly before booking my headshot session, she did see another professional photographer in Geneva. And the result from that photosession (shown in the small picture) gave her all the right to be doubtful on a positive result. As you can see in that deceiving shoot, she looked stressed, in pain, very unhappy. I don't know (and I honestly don't care) who took this crappy picture, but it gave me the opportunity to excel and do better, as well as rebuild my client's confidence in herself.

With my coaching technique I do help my clients achieve the best results, getting them to radiate naturally and showing confidence and approachability.

And you - What are your fears of having your picture taken? Share them with me and I can reassure you that my headshot packages all have the potential to leave you deeply satisfied.
