Stéphanie Schleining Deschanel — A New Chapter at the Helm

When Stéphanie Schleining Deschanel was appointed Head of Bonhams Switzerland, she began preparing her announcement to the specialised press. Among many specialized media features, Tribune de Genève published a well-received article — illustrated with the portraits we created together.

Unhappy with previous images taken by other photographers, Stéphanie contacted me to create a refined series of headshots and corporate portraits. We explored different wardrobe options and settings, from neutral studio backgrounds to more editorial-style portraits tailored for press coverage, internal communication, and high-level presentations.

Our collaboration was rooted in trust. Years ago, Stéphanie regularly attended my yoga classes — and remembered the precise guidance and clear direction, paired with my upbeat personality that I brought to my teaching. She had followed my photography work silently over the years, and when the moment came, she reached out. Needless to say, I was thrilled to be commissioned.

What followed was a confident and elegant portrait series that reflects Stéphanie’s presence and Bonhams’ global standing. A visual story of leadership, credibility, and style — captured with precision.
