Cargill Holiday Party at Izakaya Geneva

I had the pleasure of accompanying my corporate photography client Cargill and their guests for their Holiday Party at Izakaya Restaurant & Club in Geneva, a venue recently opened by renowned chef Danny Khezar.

The evening brought together team members and their plus-ones – spouses, partners and friends – for a festive cocktail dinner. Fresh dishes and amuse-bouches kept flowing from the kitchen, setting the tone for a relaxed and generous celebration.

The venue offered different atmospheres throughout the night. A lively dance floor for those ready to move. A music-driven lounge for conversations. And a quieter bar area for exchanges at normal sound level. There was something for everyone.

Photocall at the Izakaya Club and Restaurant

The evening started with a photocall at arrival, set up with my mobile studio to give each guest a strong portrait and a great souvenir.

Inside, the lighting was challenging, extremely dark, with dominant red tones. But my experience with precise lighting control ensured clean, natural-looking images throughout the event.

As the night progressed, the energy shifted to the dance floor. One of the highlights was a spectacular fire-breathing performance by the bartender, which I covered from both behind the bar and among the guests.

The result is a dynamic and joyful visual story that reflects the atmosphere of the evening. A successful event, and images that my clients were genuinely happy to receive.
