Photographing in Geneva Leadership and Connection in Global Aviation Technology
I had the pleasure of photographing the leadership team of SITA at the Geneva headquarters, starting with CEO Barbara Dalibard, formerly at the head of SNCF railways in France. SITA (Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques) is a world leader in air transport technology. The company connects thousands of airports, airlines, and governments around the globe.

For a company with thousands of employees worldwide, a coherent visual identity strengthens leadership visibility and reinforces SITA’s reputation for innovation and reliability. To announce Barbara Dalibard’s appointment, we created a full series of professional portraits for press, communication, and editorial use.
In addition to her headshots, we included portraits in real work settings, in the open office, in talks with different teams at the cafeteria and other meeting rooms. The goal was to show her as both a strong, fair, yet approachable leader.
Each setup was carefully planned. I added subtle lighting and worked with the translucent conference walls to create depth and atmosphere. The result: elegant, confident, and human portraits that reflect SITA’s international culture.
Leadership Team Headshots
SITA’s global leadership gathers regularly in Geneva. During these meetings, I photographed the senior management and regional heads for internal and external communication.
Each portrait follows the same lighting and composition. This ensures consistent tone and quality across all images, from Geneva to Singapore or Montreal. The result is a unified, credible visual identity for a truly global company.
Continuity in Leadership – David Lavorel
When David Lavorel succeeded Barbara Dalibard as CEO in 2022, the communication’s team at SITA simply could reuse the headshots that I had created pre-Covid for his CEO role for the division On-Air. His portraits were shared with the international press to announce his appointment.
